Campaign: Filmmaking Is Hard

Soundstripe
Production Coordinator + Designer

I’m not a filmmaker by trade, but I worked with a lot of them throughout the four years I worked at Soundstripe. Days on set can be a slog, but it’s an industry full of people who are passionate about what they do. To honor that, the in-house creative team at Soundstripe took a more light-hearted approach to this campaign with our talented, in-house video team writing and producing four 60-second spots over two days at several locations in Nashville, TN, that were packed with character.

To showcase these spots, the design team created a new landing page, mixing a typekit inspired by classic Hollywood signage and festival laurels with some rough/run-and-gun-styled elements inspired by the messy nature of creation. We decided to format this work as a case study, featuring key crew credits, photos from the set, and BTS videos from Soundstripe’s Tips & Tricks YouTube series related to the shoot, as well as a few dozen digital ads and posters to promote the campaign across all channels.
