Brand Refresh: Soundstripe

Soundstripe
Brand Strategist + DESIGNER

Over the course of four years, Soundstripe as a company and the product mix they offer evolved... a lot.
What started as a platform that supplied music for video, expanded to include a full suite of top-tier stock content and creator-centric integrations like Twitch, Frame.io, and Adobe Premiere Pro to support more than 50,000 customers in 140 countries.

In early 2022, the marketing department at Soundstripe decided that, in the midst of all this change, it was time to re-center, re-focus, and refresh the visual identity of the company as well. To allow the company’s identity to evolve into something new, but built with a strong awareness of the foundation the company was built on… which is a foundation that can be summed up in one word: Joy.

Jonathan Frazier (Creative Director), Lee Steffen (External Agency, External CD), and I (Brand Strategist, Designer) worked together to identify the visual needs of the rebrand, create a new visual identity, set parameters for how the visual identity should be used, create new assets, and compile a brand library + guide that could be understood and followed by other creators and collaborators.
