The Creative Gate is an organization looking to pioneer the building of bridges in order to connect creatives from different disciplines and provide a platform for collaboration in ways that have yet to happen in media… ever. (I can’t say more, but it’s pretty freaking cool). For this brand identity, I wanted to include elements of the founder’s personality, style, and interests— elegance, minimalism, astrology, love, creativity, visions, faith, belief in a greater good, and a pathway forward. I was also intrigued by the question, “What’s behind the gate?”, which led me to the conclusion that the “gate” in TCG isn’t actually the subject of focus when it comes to the company or its mission— the focus is actually on what’s behind the gate— on what comes next.
